What is CMP?
The CMP delivers firearms safety and marksmanship training through a national network of affiliated shooting clubs, state shooting associations and other organizations.
The Dalles Rifle and Pistol Club holds CMP Clinics on the 2nd Sunday of every month (weather permitting) with an orientation class for NEW shooters held before the scheduled clinic. The CMP Clinic is open to anyone age 14 and up. The cost is $25.00 with a discount for Juniors. The fee includes 54 rounds of ammunition and the use of one of the club’s M1 Garands. Shooting Clinics start at 7:30am at the outdoor range.
The Dalles Rifle and Pistol Club holds Other Rifle Shooting Clinics on any 5th Sunday that falls in a month. These are open to anyone with a “ Sporting Rifle” and following the NRA Sporting Rifle rules. Clinics start at 7:30am at the outdoor range.
